Pocket plane SK4

For fine and end grain cuts. 25° bevel angle. Results in a cutting angle of 37°.
This lightweight and handy pocket plane fits perfectly in the palm of your hand thanks to its convex shape, polished tip and concave grips. It is ideal for craft woodworking, model making and musical instrument making. Fine shavings thanks to a narrow mouth opening (not adjustable). Blade adjustment nut and turning wheel made of stainless steel and brass. The tip is fixed by a retaining pin. Comes with brush case made of a jute and cotton mix with drawstring.

The development of these planes is based on the Herdim planes. They have been making them for decades for luthiers, who highly value extreme precision and perfect work. The solid, stress-relieving annealed cast steel brushes* with finely lapped soles and right-angle ground cheeks are as much a sign of quality as the blades, which are a minimum of 3mm thick and made from SK4 steel (61 HRC). The easy-to-adjust iron feed allows for simple corrections, while the ergonomic, tried-and-true grips and polished fins fit comfortably in the hand. Handles made from local red beech wood.
