Guillame 13mm
Ideal plane for precise adjustment of recesses, slots, etc. Its high-precision body sits firmly when finishing tenon ends. The mouth opening can be easily adjusted with a set screw. The textured sides provide a good grip in any situation. Blade angle 15°, bevel angle 25°, resulting in a cutting angle of 40°. Comes with brush case made of a jute and cotton mix with drawstring.
The development of these planes is based on Herdim planes. They have been making them for decades for luthiers, who highly value extreme precision and perfect workmanship. The solid cast steel* brushes, subjected to stress-relieving annealing, with finely lapped soles and right-angle ground cheeks, are as much a sign of quality as the blades, which are at least 3 mm thick and made of SK4 steel (61 HRC). Easy-to-adjust planer feed allows for simple corrections, while ergonomic, proven grips and polished fins fit comfortably in the hand. Local red beech wood handles.
