The STRATOS machine series was developed in cooperation with experienced turners, including the well-known master turner Alfred Baumann.
It combines the latest innovations with the tried and tested. The STRATOS FU-230 LV with extra long bed is a lathe that is equally suitable for beginners, advanced users, professionals and artists with an optimal price-performance ratio and has established itself in countless workshops in the meantime.

Special attention was paid to the following points during the development of the STRATOS FU-230 series of machines:

Extremely smooth operation when turning bowls, vases, long woods, ..... thanks to the solid gray cast iron construction.
Wide and heavy cast feet for optimum stability and best resistance to vibrations
Long bed (SPECIAL LV model - version) for machining long parts
Exactly aligned tips as the best prerequisite for turning writing implements, turning miniatures and longitudinal wood, and for clean drilling results
Wide rotational speed range on both pulleys; in this way, a large part of the parts can be machined without changing the stage of the belt
Powerful motor with frequency converter, especially advantageous when turning shells
