The headstock of the Coronet Herald can rotate 360°. This optimises accessibility and also makes it ideal for left-handed workers. It works completely counter-clockwise with changed direction of rotation.
The locking system under the headstock allows it to be placed in the desired position.
The tool holder and tailstock can be immediately locked with the easy-to-use locking system. Thanks to the large transmission ratio, these elements can be safely operated with one hand.
The speed is adjusted by three belt stages and an electronic speed control. This allows an optimal motor ratio for sufficient torque in the desired speed range.
For most turning jobs, the middle level is ideal and provides sufficient torque.
For maximum torque, the lower pulley is ideal.
For very small jobs, polishing, high-gloss acrylic work or baking work, the upper pulley with very high speeds is ideal.
The tailstock is equipped with a large, solid handwheel. Thus, power transmission for the spindle stroke can be carried out with little effort.
A heavy-duty spindle lock provides the spindle with a secure hold in any position, and a dividing device with 24 points is also installed.
The combination of a swivel head and an optionally available grey cast iron external turning device enables the production of workpieces with a diameter of up to 530 mm.
