The new MIDI 3 bench lathe with swivel headstock combines the proven features of the MIDI series with new, exceptional functions in this machine segment.

It is equipped with a swivel headstock with a center height of 190 mm and an extra-stable bed, a SAFE-START function*, and a two-stage brake switch.

Furthermore, the MIDI 3 can be adapted for left-handed users due to its design**.

The bench base has been taken from the MIDI 2 Plus, ensuring a wide base of 30 cm and optimal use of the headstock rotation without sacrificing stability. But the new MIDI 3 is equipped with some additional features!

The MIDI 3 can be converted for left-handed use! (Thanks to an additional belt viewing window, a spindle locking hole, and a quill scale on the back, as well as the corresponding convertible machine parts (bottom of the palm rest and tailstock clamp).

Two-stage brake switch (fast/standard) that controls the spindle braking speed after the machine is switched off. (Short braking time = ideal for turning small projects such as pens, etc.)
