Tailstock shaft with collar thread

Suitable for DRECHSELMEISTER TWISTER FU-200, TWISTER ECO, STRATOS FU-230 and STRATOS LV lathes.

The quick axis change system on the lathe tailstock allows drilling with a high quality ER25 collet system. This means that drill bits can be clamped directly and precisely in the appropriate ER25 collet, without using a separate chuck and without losing center width when drilling.

ER25 collets are extremely precise and have proven themselves for years in both carpentry and, above all, metalworking. The trapezoidal threaded spindle for adjusting the shank on the lathe guarantees smooth and fast feed, which is an additional advantage for the system.

The tailstock has a travel of 100 (!) mm and is equipped with a scale.

ATTENTION! This tailstock spindle with ER25 only fits DRECHSELMEISTER models from a certain year of manufacture.

From this moment on, the models already included an interchangeable pen and a trapezoidal wire spindle. NOT SUITABLE for TWISTER FU-180 models!

Retrofit kit for older models

For the models listed above before the specified year of manufacture, upgrade kits are available to replace the MK2. Replace the thread with a MK2 trapezoidal thread spindle. Your lathe will also be compatible with the ER25 tailstock drilling pen.
