GZ wood threading system + collar gripping system

Device for creating an internal or external thread in wood.

The system consists of:

3 axes of Ø 16, 25.4 and 30 mm, which you can choose depending on the lathe
Special centring device for alignment
Vernier caliper for checking the thread depth
Thread pitch 2.5 mm
Travel distance approx. 50 mm
Suitable for lathes with centre heights of 150 - 300 mm! Sturdy construction that is mounted on the machine bed. The device can be adjusted transversely and parallel to the chuck axis.

With a connecting thread of M33 x 3.5, the collet chuck on which the workpiece is clamped can be mounted directly. With the supplied milling cutter (14 mm shank) and accessories, metric threads with a pitch of 2.5 mm up to 50 mm in length can be produced in wood.

For clamping small, cylindrical workpieces (e.g. jewellery, decorative object production, etc.). Thanks to the secure threaded grip, flap discs and similar abrasive tools can also be clamped optimally.
