DDZ-4077 Threading System

Innovative system for making internal and external threads with a 2.5 mm pitch.

Ideal for wood lathes with a center height of 150 to 300 mm! Robust construction that mounts on the machine bed. The device can be adjusted transversely and parallel to the chuck axis.

With an M33 x 3.5 connection thread, the chuck can be mounted directly where the workpiece is already clamped. With the included milling cutter (14 mm shank) and accessories, you can produce metric tapered threads with a 2.5 mm pitch (optionally 3.5 mm) up to 50 mm long in wood.

It is recommended to clamp the milling cutter with the ER25 collet chuck (optionally available, DDZ-4036) and the 14 mm collet (ZC-BER25-14).

The wood thread cutter can only be mounted on machines with a cast iron bed.
