Tormek ACC150 anti-corrosive liquid

Pack of 2 150 ml bottles of concentrated anti-corrosive liquid to preserve Tormek diamond wheels.
Prevents the corrosion that water can cause on Tormek diamond wheels.
It can also be used with conventional Tormek sharpening stones.

Tormek has developed three diamond wheels for use with its water-cooled sharpening system that offer exceptional durability and the ability to sharpen tools both along the contour and side of the wheel.
The quality of the diamond surface provides constant sharpening capacity and a wheel that practically does not wear out and therefore always remains at its full diameter. Low speed sharpening is ideal with diamond stones since no heat is generated.

These Tormek stones are constructed using a precision machined steel frame. The frame is coated with a single layer of diamond sand that is electrolytically fixed with nickel. When the metal filings from your tool touch the abrasive coating, they will reach the steel frame through the pores found in the nickel coating and will be exposed to the steel core.

Therefore, you should always use ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate when sharpening with water to prevent rust on the grinding wheel. Add 10 ml of concentrate to 250 ml of water (~4%). If you want to store the mixture overnight, remember to lower the bucket.

We recommend always using water when sharpening with these diamond wheels, as it prolongs the life of the stone and results in a finer surface.
Dry sharpening is also possible.

Tormek Diamond stones are available in 3 different grains: Coarse, Fine and Extra-Fine.

Each of them is valid for any type of material, including steel, ceramic and carbide.
