VL240 lathes have a swivel headstock feature that allows the headstock to rotate from its normal straight position up to 90 degrees. There are four individual pin lock positions in 22.5 degree increments which aid in comfort when turning large parts. It has a precise locking feature that ensures the lathe will return to a perfect zero position. The VL240 has a very solid cast iron construction.

The lathe is mounted on a 4mm thick adjustable plate support that has been designed with a 700mm wide footprint for stability and rigidity. Adjustable legs allow you to customize the height to suit your ideal working height.
