The UjK joining system creates strong joints quickly and easily. These self-tapping screws are made of hardened steel. They eliminate the need to pre-drill the workpiece. The screw acts as an internal clamp and is stronger than a biscuit, dowel, or tenon. Manufactured from zinc-plated steel according to DIN 1.1133, the fine-thread screw is suitable for hardwoods such as oak, maple, walnut, and cherry. The Torx T20 head is chosen to provide the best possible grip. The screw head design provides the largest surface area for firmly joining woods, especially plywood or pine, and ensures the screw is not overtightened.
