Special scraper with extra-thick material and a cryogenic HSS M2 finish.

For internal and external turning (e.g., smoothing the inside surfaces of bowls or finishing external shapes).

This turning tool allows for a safe and smooth surface finish. It is sharpened with top and bottom chamfers. Ideal for beginners and for working with complex grain woods, as its shape reduces the risk of the tool binding while working the workpiece.

Thanks to its two chamfers, the negative scraper is less aggressive and more stable than most conventional scrapers.

It allows for a very smooth surface finish on the workpiece, meaning that resharpening is rarely required.

The tool sits relatively flat on the holder to maintain the optimal cutting angle.
