The NOVA VIKING is a drill press with the unique BELTLESS DVR drive system. It is equipped with a 1 HP motor with variable speed from 150 to 3,000 rpm (programmable up to 5,000 rpm).

Other special features include a large, easy-to-read display and a variety of smart functions, such as auto-start for one-handed drilling and electronic depth stop.

The built-in LED lighting can be turned on to illuminate the work area.

The machine table can be tilted, swiveled and height adjusted.

The 1 HP DVR smart digital motor offers regulated speed and power to maintain optimal torque on the drill.

A belt drive normally has a power loss of around 20%. The DVR unit offers the desired torque regardless of the material.
