Set of 3 HSS M2-KRYO bowl Gouges

BASIC-LINE set of 3 bowl gouges, made of high-speed steel (HSS) M2-KRYO, suitable for beginners and advanced users. Ideal for all types of bowl and plate turning.

All gouges have a standard edge of approximately 45°. Beechwood handles with stainless steel ferrules.

These tools offer excellent edge retention thanks to their cryogenic treatment. In this process, the steel is rapidly cooled after hardening to -185°C, resulting in a finer structure. This produces a particularly durable and resistant edge that is easy to sharpen.
