Tenon Cutter 12.7 mm Veritas
These cutters can be used in two ways: As a sharpener with previously turned wooden tenons to make rustic furniture components or with the help of power tools (such as a drill or motor with a drill chuck mounted) to perform repetitive tenoning with great precision. Most commercial tenons are only available in unidentified Asian wood that has been sanded, not turned. They are never completely cylindrical and rarely can be accurately classified according to size. Using a drill, you only need a slightly oversized square strip (1.5mm larger than the required diameter) and a socket wrench to drive the action through the cutter.
Galvanized zinc alloy body with adjustable carbon steel blade, resharpenable, equally valid on soft, green or hard woods.
