Cherry Wood 300x60x60mm

The heartwood is pale pink-brown and the sapwood is lighter. The sapwood is clearly differentiated. The growth rings are well differentiated. It has a lustrous grain. Density: 610-630 kg/m3. easy to work with and is a favourite with furniture makers. The lighter sapwood has an attractive contrast to the heartwood and can also be used due to its similar hardness. It darkens slightly with age.
