CARTER XL MultiRest steady

The CARTER MultiRest XL rear window is the largest version. This universal mounting lens offers large capacity from 15mm to 450mm workpiece diameter.

The basic unit can be mounted on many different lathes with a cast bed. The distance on the bed for mounting the clamping jaws must be between 25.4 mm and 114 mm. In the basic configuration, the CARTER MultiRest XL can be used for lathes with a center height of up to 305 mm. A minimum central height of 200 mm is recommended.

The CARTER MultiRest is therefore suitable for the following DRECHSELMEISTER models:

TWISTER ECO, TWISTER FU-200 and TWISTER XL
STRATOS FU-230, STRATOS LV and STRATOS XL
The four included mounting arms can be positioned anywhere around the ring.

The unique two-piece design allows the MultiRest XL™ to be opened quickly while the MultiRest XL™ mounting base remains firmly attached to the lathe table. This allows easy access when mounting or disassembling workpieces. Additionally, when the larger ring section is separated, the remaining smaller section becomes a bowl holder, providing solid support for the rotating workpiece.

The multi-ring structure of the device creates high rigidity while being easy to handle. Heavy-duty laser-cut aluminum and steel components ensure maximum strength and durability. Each of the MultiRest's robust series-mounted wheels has a rigid inner ring to prevent the side walls from bending. The MultiRest XL™ uses heavy-duty sealed industrial bearings that ensure long-lasting durability.
