Klingspor KL 361 sandpaper pack

Pack of 3 10x15cm sandpaper, with grains of 120, 240 and 400

The cloth-backed KL 361 JF abrasive strip has a wide range of applications. It is appropriate for machining:

steel,
stainless steel,
non-ferrous metals and
wood.
In this way, this abrasive strip is also ideal for DIY. It can be used for equipping orbital sanders. It is available in different widths and grain sizes.

Great adaptability to the shape of the piece
A JF cotton backing is used for the KL 361 JF abrasive strip. The fabric support of the abrasive strip guarantees a high adaptation to the shape of the part to be machined and achieves a very fine surface. In addition, this cotton backing ensures greater tear resistance than a paper backing. For this reason, this abrasive strip is suitable for both shape sanding and erosion sanding.

Durable and suitable for fast work
The aluminum oxide abrasive grain is applied in closed distribution on the JF cotton backing. Aluminum oxide belongs to the synthetic grain types. Compared to natural grain types, for example emery or garnet, it offers the advantage of having more uniform characteristics. Aluminum oxide is very hard and tough. It is attached to the support with the help of synthetic resin. The closed distribution means that the backing is almost 100% covered with abrasive grains. These two factors are responsible for the long life of the abrasive strip and the high material removal rate during sanding. With a closed distribution, the force used for sanding is distributed over a large number of grain points. For this reason, the individual tip does not penetrate as much into the material as with other types of distribution. The result is a finer surface machining. This is also supported by the high adaptation of the support.
